Cindy Bezas will be speaking on The Apotheosis Moment: When Faced with Giving Up or Going On

BIO:

Cindy Bezas is a national speaker, business consultant, and trainer, but her life has been anything but typical. She experienced four traumatic brain injuries (TBI’s) as a child, which left her prone to future head traumas. In adulthood she experienced more than ten concussions. As such, she knows the rigors of trying to find resilience when it seems there is none. As she recovered from multiple TBI’s, her passion grew in the communication field for helping others achieve greatness despite setbacks. She went on to become an internationally ranked podcast host, paid blogger, and certified Laughter Yoga Leader in an effort to bring hope and light into the lives of those seeking resilience and triumph. As a composer, vocalist, and musician, she performed in the United States, on television, and in Europe. She has been traditionally published in fiction and non-fiction, has seen five of her stage productions produced, in addition to publishing hymns arranged for the ukulele.

Her master’s from the University of Idaho in Organizational Learning and Leadership led her to research showing the power of words and narrative therapy to overcome trauma, PTSD, and setbacks in corporate and private settings. Her bachelor’s from Brigham Young University focused on training programs and motivational speaking. Together she has wrapped that experience into written and spoken words that led her to obtain additional certifications in oral and written storytelling. Her professional purpose is to shape communities, businesses, and families into networks of strength, vigor, and endurance. She currently serves as an online adjunct faculty member teaching classes in communication and as an Assistant Instructor Mentor for Brigham Young University-Idaho. She is the host of the Able Mama Laughter and Love Channel at YouTube, launching late spring 2024. Cindy’s philosophy is that “Words change lives—whether for good or ill—so choose words carefully!” She and her husband, Michael, are the grateful parents of four children, one of which moved on to heaven in 1994, plus three adorable grandchildren.
